My Beliefs are My Beliefs.

Okay, I just have to sat this. Someone blew up in my face the other day because of my political beliefs. Now its not that I hate America. That's what everyone thinks. Its that I don't like our stage that were in right about now. Like, my beliefs are very Left sided. (Revalutionary.) Which means that I think that we need radical change. I feel that I have just about no say in our government. Sure we get to elect our representatives, but does that mean that they'll win? And what if that representative is doing things that the people don't like? A man called Tom Morello said this "America touts itself as the land of the free, but the number one freedom that you and I have is the freedom to enter into a subservient role in the workplace. Once you exercise this freedom you've lost all control over what you do, what is produced, and how it is produced. And in the end, the product doesn't belong to you. The only way you can avoid bosses and jobs is if you don't care about making a living. Which leads to the second freedom: the freedom to starve." I think these are strong words. And represents what I think about things now.

But I don't hate America. As I said before. We do have freedoms that no one else has. And there were some good people that brought those freedoms about. I just wish those people were still around today.Tell me what you think about our country. Tell me if you agree or disgree. Tell me your beliefs.

Reletively Calm....kinda

So I've been getting settled in. But now I've got a cold. Which sucks. The bands been doing some new stuff. Including some cover songs. Like, were doing one from Creedence Clearwater Revival. Its called "Fortunate Son." Maybe you've heard of it. Were doing a cover song from Black Sabbath. Its a ballad song called "Changes." I think were gonna get really good here in the next few months.

Yesterday we all took our equipment and put it in J's (he's the lead guitarist) garage, put our amps on full blast and just blared out music. It was awesome.

Heavy Metal

Okay, this is the story about the risa and fall of aHeavy Metal. Put into shorter terms.

Heavy Metal emerged on the 80's. With metal bands pioneering the billboards, it was hard to not get into it. Bands like QUiot Riot, Queen, Twisted Sister, MEtallica, and Motley Crue Ruled this age. Metal rocked out the charts for over a decade. Metallica ruling over the U.S. But metal had died out in about 95'. All the bands that rocked seemed to have died out and have became history. Only a couple bands keep the genre alive. So in the end, Metal was born to die. It was never gonna stay alive forever. What do you people think about it? Do you agree?

How To Save A Life

I've now got this really awesome song in my head. Its called "How To Save A Life" by The Fray. I think it's a really great song. And the music video is also very awesome. I love that kind of music too. Like, I listen to the band called Coldplay. They're one of my favourite bands of like, all time. I went to see one of they're shows over the summer. I had the forth row seat! I could feel the ground shake when they played one of their songs called "Speed of Sound." The drumming literally shook the ground. It was one of my most greatest moments of my life. What do you guys think about Coldplay? Or any of that kind of music?

Types of music

There are many kinds of music out there. And if youre like me, you like all those kinds. Like for instance, I'm mostly about Punk rock, Old rock, and the newe stuff. I love it. But I also like all the oter kinds too. Even though I like Rock and Roll, I grew up listening to people like Hank WIlliams, Georgia Sattellites, and Confederate Railroad. Also bands like Quiet Riot, Uriah Heep, Led Zeppelin, The WHo, The Doors, and all kinds of other good bands as well. And then there's rap, now I like some of rap. Like Nas, Ludacris, and Dr. Dre. And here also was new type of music that came to hit us all in 90, It was a mix of Funk (Funk Core), Rap (Rap Core), and Rock (Metal). And the band that dominated this was Rage. Rage was one of the most greatest metal core bands in the world in that time. Not just because the were very good, but they also put their left wing political beliefs into rhymes and melodies. This good charecteristic is what made them famous. What do you think about political rock? What your type of music? What is your favourite band or singer?
